Film at 11 grows eerie and futuristic for Friday, 24 March 2023

This week, Jeff Godsil reminds us of Michael Moore's Farenheit 9-11, followed by a reprise of Britts Gordon's comments on  Jia Zhangke's first feature film, Xiao Wu, also known as Pickpocket, but first, Matthew of KBOO's monthly bedtime story program Gremlin Time assesses the recent Criterion DVD release of La Llorona, Jayro Bustamante's Guatamalan interpretation of that popular eerie story. If time permits, we may add a brief round robin of thoughts on recent releases.
