Goddess Obscura scours the globe for the coolest tunes from the best musicians, bands, and groups made up of entirely women - spanning from classics from the 1960s to today

In addition to the usual line-up, here are our Featured Goddesses this week:

BlueBonnets - a Rock/Blues band hailing from Austin, Texas. Founded by Kathy Valentine of the Go-Go's, this group knows how to lay down a groovy blues sound that'll have you on your feet. Plus, the women in the band bring incredible vocal harmonies to the mix, taking their music to a whole new level.

The Pandoras - Garage rock band with a 60s style from Los Angeles, CA. Established in 1982 and disbanding in 1991, this group has left a lasting impact on the LA music scene with their dynamic psychedelic sound. Their early tracks have a distinct 60s garage rock vibe, while their later material showcases a more contemporary, hard rock style.

Cub - Originating from Vancouver, BC, this group emerged onto the scene in 1992 and disbanded in 1997. Known for their distinct "cuddlecore" sound, a fusion of pop punk that's both sweet and edgy, their music is guaranteed to have you grooving along. And if that wasn't impressive enough, some early recordings and tours featured the talents of the incomparable Neko Case on drums

Our 3-hour long show airs on the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month (late Sunday night) at Midnight, so you can rock out all night long. Tune in to KBOO 90.7FM in Portland to catch the show live, or listen to our recorded broadcasts online anytime.
