Host Don Jacobson of Movin' On will be presenting a special program on Friday, October 27th twelve noon to 1:30. Featured will be Debby McClatchy, Jason & Pharis Romero and Stan Rogers. Debby McClatchy, now living in the northern Sierra foothills is a master banjo player, a lover of old time music and writes songs as well. Pharis & Jason Romero, living in British Columbia, Canada, are two-time Juno Award winners for Traditional Roots Album of the Year. They have mastered the duet style and play traditional songs, covers and their own material. Stan Rogers, also from Canada died tragically in an airliner fire. He wrote traditional sounding songs about his maritime home. Tune in, Friday October 27th, right after the12 noon news for some great folk music.
