Please join us on Monday, July 8th at 6:30 pm for Prison Pipeline on KBOO Community Radio as we talk with Kyle Robinson about the Beyond the Wall Toastmasters Club. Kyle Robinson is a formerly incarcerated victim's rights advocate who serves as Vice President of Public Relations for the first returning citizen-focused Toastmasters club. He's also a member of the Portland Committee for Community-Engaged Policing. Kyle's passion fuels him to create and support avenues for the wrongly or excessively incarcerated to develop meaningful connections with society and help returning citizens find their footing in reentry. Beyond the Wall Toastmasters is a Toastmasters club dedicated to helping those individuals who were formerly incarcerated to improve themselves through the Toastmasters educational program.
Prison Pipeline is a radio program dedicated to educating the public about the Oregon criminal justice system. Our goal is to present a unique understanding of the criminal justice system, address the root causes of crime, and challenge the status quo. We seek to promote awareness and activism in order to foster a safe, healthy, and just society. Tune in every Monday at 6:30 P.M. to hear our hosts Karen James, Adam Carpinelli, Emma Lugo, and Doug McVay explore the Oregon justice system with a variety of guests.
