It has been ten days since the Trump administration issued an executive directive that denies the existence of transgender people—an unprecedented attack that includes:
🚨 Targeting DEI programs in schools
🚨 Threatening to prosecute doctors and educators
🚨 Banning gender-affirming care for legal adults
🚨 Barring transgender people from military service
🚨 Withholding vital documents like birth certificates and marriage records
This is just the beginning of what could be a four-year (or longer) campaign of state-sponsored discrimination against transgender people, violating the U.S. Constitution and the 14th Amendment. We’ll break down the six major areas where trans rights are currently under assault and explore what this means for our community.
At a time when our world is on fire—just two weeks after the inauguration of a convicted criminal openly targeting transgender people—we know there are many pressing topics to cover. We’ll get to as much as possible, with the resources we have as a community-driven radio show.
