Coming Up on Our Show: A Conversation with Ellie Krug! 🎙️
We're thrilled to welcome Ellie Krug — nationally recognized speaker, author, and advocate for inclusivity — to our next broadcast! Ellie is host of the radio show and podcast, "The Illegal Transwoman" and is an advocate for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
A former trial lawyer and nonprofit founder, Ellie is the author of Getting to Ellen: A Memoir about Love, Honesty and Gender Change. Ellie transitioned genders in 2009 — a journey that forever reshaped her life and work. Today, she inspires audiences across North America with her authenticity, humor, and brave storytelling.
From the courtroom to the radio mic, Ellie is known for being an "open book" — weaving together life experiences, insights on "otherness," and a message of hope and change. Her voice (masculine) and appearance (feminine) challenge how we automatically label and categorize each other — and she uses that to spark real conversations about empathy and belonging.
Don't miss this unforgettable conversation with Ellie Krug — a voice for inclusion, empathy, and radical hope. 💜
