Live on Movin' On Friday 9/19, Portland's Padam Padam plays live French cabaret, klezmer tunes, tangos and original tunes, with KBOO's own Barbara Bernstein on viola, Venezuelan cuatro, guitar and vocals, KBOO's own Kathy Fors on accordion, and Lisa Berkson Platt on vocals with Jaime Leopold on bass, guitar and piano. The show continues host Laurie Sonnenfeld's thread presenting larger local bands with a big presence, frequently (but not always) with a world music flavor. Recent shows have featured The Underscore Orkestra (August), Fools in Paradise (6 piece marimba/mbira ensemble) (July) and The Sons of Bernard (May). Is there a band you'd like to hear on Movin' On?
