This edition of The Film Show is all about telling stories in an idiosyncratic and genre-bending manner. Jenn Chavez sits down with the Whiteman Brothers, Sean and Christof, whose upcoming short-film retrospective includes the quirky Leap Year series — 29 films made in 29 days. Then, S.W. Conser is joined on the line by indigenous Canadian author Richard Van Camp, whose coming-of-age novel The Lesser Blessed has been adapted into a poignantly beautiful feature film. Finally, Natalie Butto invites Betty Marin from PSU's Art and Social Practice program to talk about the curated program of Telenovelas which she'll be presenting at the Hollywood Theatre.
