The past weeks have seen a new upsurge of resistance of the Palestinian people against the Israeli settler regime and its US backer. Thousands and thousands of people in Gaza have stood up, proclaiming their dignity and demanding their rights as human beings, refusing to live in the open-air prison they've been forced into, and continuing in the face of Israeli mass murder. They have protested the theft of their land by the Zionists in the Great March of Return. They have set sail in boats to break the decade-long siege of Gaza. A fierce new generation has come on the scene, lighting up the world by their heroic example.

We'll hear two interviews with international law expertRichard Falk, formerUnited Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967.

In the first interview he speaks of the Great March of Return, the criminal Israeli response, and the actions of the US. The second interview, recorded last year, analyzes the various impacts of the Trump regime's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Richard Falk is an international law and international relations scholar who taught at Princeton University for forty years, and UC Santa Barbara. Over the years, he has been fighting tirelessly for the rights and lives of the Palestinian people, and standing up to non-stop attacks from the Zionists, their allies and their backers in the US.
