It's wintertime in the Pacific Northwest, so what better way to escape the cloudy weather than in a bright cinema with your fellow film buffs?

We're joined in the studio by Tracy Francis, Festival Director for the Cascade Festival of African Films, who is once again bringing independent filmmakers to Portland from across the African continent.

The Northwest Film Center's Ben Popp also joins us, to talk about the newly combined forces of the Northwest Filmmakers' Festival and the Portland International Film Festival.
