"A Conversation with The Fire Frashour Campaign"

Should Portland Police officers Ronald Frashour, Chris Humphreys and others involved in the death of Portland residents in recent years be fired immediately? Should mandatory arbitration be removed from the Portland Police Association contract? Should contract negotiations with the association be conducted under public scrutiny? These are just some of the demands that will be made at a demonstration sponsored by the Fire Frashour Campaign at 4 p.m. this Friday, June 11, at City Hall.   Jo Ann and Dave talk with Sara Libby of Rose City Copwatch about the upcoming demonstration and the organization's "Fire Frashour" campaign.

Jo Ann Bowman is a former state legislator, former executive director of Oregon Action, and a long-time leader in the struggle for racial and economic justice. Dave Mazza is a freelance journalist and former editor of The Portland Alliance who has covered and been involved in Portland's civil rights, peace, labor and environmental movements for 20 years.
