For this first Film Show episode of 2016, Jenn Chavez sits down with local documentarian Kelly Kend to talk about her new film Yeah Maybe No, an exploration of sexual consent and coercion.
Then, S.W. Conser previews the Portland International Film Festival's Oregon Shorts program with the help of filmmakers Dawn Jones Redstone and Howard Mitchell, and the Northwest Film Center's Ben Popp.
We're also joined by Ian Sundahl, curator of the Hollywood Theatre's monthly Repressed Cinema series, which is dedicated to screening "movies that are obscure, neglected, and from the fringe."
An expanded version of this episode, with additional audio of our Kelly Kend interview, is available at this link.
