A visit to the Frishbergs after Dave's recent health adventures inspired this show.
Jazz In The Afternoon will always keep Dave's timeless music fresh.
April has given me 6 tunes from a so-far unreleased 1997/1998 disc
that was to be titled By Myself.
At least 2 of them will be KBOO Debuts this WED from 2 to 3 p.m.
One is a new Frank Loesser (Dave's favorite composer) medley,
completely different tunes than the ones he chose for his 1985 disc
I Can't Take You Nowhere.
After the 3:30 jazz calendar,
Richard Basi will be our guest to preview his
Cherry Blossom Orchestra concert, later this month,
on the rooftop of the Oregon Jewish Museum.
The concert will feature the music of Benny Goodman.
