First Sampler of the New Year

We start off a new year with some music and some serious film talk. Joining us in the studio will be Dan and Chantell Halsted, from the Hollywood Theater, to talk about  an amazing film that they are showing this Thursday as part of their Hollywood Babylon series. From 1931 and the pre code period comes "Safe In Hell", directed by William Wellman and staring the glomorous, but little known today spitfire Dorothy Mackaill. After killing a man in New Orleans, a woman hides out on a small Carribean island  She finds herself in the company of a collection of desperate men also on the run. DK Holm is under the weather but might call in to join in the conversation. Fortunato has also lined up a few sets of music to help kick start your week.
