Sisterhood is universal. Please join us for Transpositive on KBOO Community Radio on Monday, March 8th for International Women's Day. Transgender women have a unique perspective on womanhood. We have had to fight patriarchy since the beginning of our lives as we have struggle to claim our identities. We celebrate our struggles and newly won freedoms and join in solidarity with our sisters everywhere to uphold the inherent dignity and worth of all women. Joining us on Transpositive today will be Claire Hall, Lincoln County Commissioner and Sheila Mengert, Oregon Resident and author of Transexualism and It's Discontents as well as regular show hosts Jean Bryant and Emma Lugo. We will be discussing aging as women, trans women's new cultural visibility, trans inclusion in sports, and how our bodies as transgender women are still being used by the far right to gain political capital.
